aesthetic update to the application clock, alarm, voice search,
sending messages to Gmail, and email notifications.

Google released a mobile phone in mid-May 2009, which has been using
Android and the SDK (Software Development Kit) version 1.5 (Cupcake).
There are several updates including the addition of several features
in this version of the mobile such as the ability to record and watch
videos with the camera mode, upload videos to Youtube site or
pictures to Picasa directly from the phone, Bluetooth A2DP support,
the ability to automatically connect to Bluetooth devices such as
Bluetooth headsets, animation on the screen, and the screen keyboard
that can be adapted to the system.

On September 2009 Google released Android version 1.6 (Donut) which
has the ability to display search process better than before, the use
of a battery indicator and control applet VPN, galleries feature
which allows the user to select the photos to be deleted, the camera
features, the integration between camcorder with galleries, CDMA /
EVDO, 802.1x, VPN, gesture capabilities, machine text-to-speech,
ability to dial contacts, and technology-change text-to-speech.

Android version 2.0 / 2.1 (Eclair) released December 3, 2009 with
changes to the hardware optimization, improved Google Maps 3.1.2,
changes to the interface with the new browser and support for HTML5,
a new contact list, support for 3.2 MP camera flash, digital features
zoom, and Bluetooth 2.1.
5. Android version 2.2 (Froyo or Frozen Yogurt).
In May 2010 Google released Android version 2.2 or known as Froyo.
Features on Android Froyo version of which is already complex enough,
the application framework enables the use and removal of components
available, Dalvik virtual machine optimized for mobile devices, 2D
graphics and 3D graphics library based on OpenGL, SQLite for data
storage, media support audio, video, and various image formats
(MPEG4, H264, MP3, AMR, JPG, PNG, and GIF), support for GSM,
Bluetooth, EDGE, 3G, and WiFi, Camera, GPS (Global Positioning
System), a compass, and accelerators.
6. Android version 2.3 (Gingerbread).
Gingerbread
Android version was launched in December 2010 by improving the
ability of SIP-based VoIP, NFC (Near Field Communication), and
Gyroscope sensor, supports the use of multiple cameras, sound
effects, and a download manager.
7. Android version 3.0 (Honeycomb).
Android version 3.0 was released in February 2011.
8. Android version 3.1
Android version 3.1 was released in May 2011.
9. Android version 3.2
Android 3.2 version released by Google in July 2011.
10. Android version 4.0
Google
Android version 4.0 was released in November 2011.
